  • Teri | Mother of Starlighter's student

Starlighter's is an amazing Dance Studio!  It's welcoming and full of wonderful instructors.  My child has developed in so many ways.  We have noticed her excelling academically since she started dancing at Starlighter's.  She has a coordination disorder and learning disability but thrives in the dance environment.  We have noticed such a change in her - for the better!  Our Tuesday nights have helped her adapt to routines and gain responsibility.

Starlighter's has been an awesome self-esteem booster for my daughter over the last couple of years.  She's dreamed of being a 'ballerina'.  Coming here has given her the confidence and courage that she can do anything!  We love and adore Ms. Laura and all of the staff we've encountered in the process.  It has warmed my heart with the amount of care and effort that is given to make our little people feel special and unique.

I like the atmosphere here at Starlighter's.  Being able to watch the girls dance and laugh is a positive experience.  My daughter really enjoys dance and the friends she has made by coming here.  Attending dance has made her more coordinated and responsible.  She loves music and singing especially - even more now because she is always dancing to everything.

  • Brenda Cook | Starlighter's student

I have been bringing my son to Starlighters for almost 3 years. He started in Big Boy Hip Hop and quickly switched to privates with Laura. My son has autism. I bring him to Laura instead of a physical therapist. Her knowledge of the biomechanics of the human body is magnificent. His strength, flexibility, and balance have all improved ten fold, and her ability to keep him focused blows me away. He's been wearing orthotics in his shoes since he was three. Because of his tap training with Laura, he no londer needs his inserts. I feel he gets more out of his two half-hour sessions a week with Laura than all his other therapists combined. It's the smartest thing I've ever done for him, and he loves it.
